Stan Weinstein was a famous trader in the 1980s who developed a medium / long term trading method: the Weinstein Strategy.
Based on 4 market phases, the strategy follows weekly charts, mainly using the 30-period moving average. Because the phase 2 is the market's uptrend phase, it is useful to detect stocks entering this phase so as to be able to take positions and follow the uptrend.
